AI Writing Workshop
Inspire your child’s creativity . . .
This AI writing workshop will help your childr understand what makes a story great, how to best capture and engage the reader, and what aspects need to be included to create a compelling story. The program will also look at story structure, characterisation, brainstorming, and writing techniques etc.
A fun way to learn and develop both your child’s writing skills and AI understanding.

There are three key sessions to the full day program:
8:45am: ARRIVAL
9 – 11am:
- Understanding stories; structure, characterisation and writing techniques
11 – 11:15am: MORNING TEA
11:15am – 1:15pm
- Brainstorm ideas and writing techniques
- First draft and editing
1:15 – 2:00pm: LUNCH
TBC – if an excursion to either Flip Out or Strike (for either bowling, laser tag or mini golf) at Charlestown Square could be arranged. Extra $12 to cover activity cost.
2 – 3pm
- Navigating storybird
- Publishing stories
HELD:
Group #1 – Years 3 and 4 – Wed 8th October, 8:45am – 3pm
(suitable for 8 – 11 years*)
Group #2 – Years 5 and 6 – Thurs 9th October, 8:45am – 3pm
(suitable for 10 – 13 years*)
*discussion about the most suitable classes can be arranged.
Workshops are usually held as a full day from 9am to 3pm and includes food; pizza lunch and snacks (rice crackers and fruit/veg) plus, all resources needed.
ADMIN:
$105 per child (6 hours), or $85 for the second sibling or when referring a new family.
Equates to $17.50 per hour for a fully qualified and experienced teacher, all resources and food included, and most importantly – the development of essential writing and AI skills.
With a sibling or friend the cost reduces to $15 per hour.
