Our highly experienced and fully qualified teachers will continue to engage and encourage your child to do their very best as they work towards to the academic goal of sitting the Merewether High School or other independent school scholarship exams. In a positive and supporting environment, your child will continue to cover exam relevant content with the necessary depth and breadth, with, real world context. This will help give your child the opportunity to better understand and remember needed information. Your child will also continue to be exposed to a diverse range of exam style questions, as well as, exam strategies – shown how to work in the most efficient manner possible. Computer based testing will be facilitated with devices, with all needed resources supplied.
STAGE #1 – January School Holiday Workshops
With a minimum of a 6 week school holiday period (some schools scheduling up to 8 weeks / 2 months break period), students will welcome the option to switch their brains back on in readiness for school and continue consistent preparation for the upcoming exam.
Held: Choose from either FULL or Hall days;
Full days: Tuesdays 6, 13 and 20 January – 9am to 4pm
– OR –
Half days: Tuesdays (6, 13 and 20 January), plus Wednesdays (7, 14 and 21 January) – 9 to 12pm or 9 to 1:30pm (including excursion)
STAGE #2 – Term 1
Held: Tuesday 27th January – Thursday 2nd April (inclusive)
Weekly classes scheduled 4 – 7pm
STAGE #3 – “Final leg of the race”: Easter Holidays + Term 2
Held: double sessions in the second week of the Easter Holidays, plus Term 2, in lead up to the exam

- Practise tests using supplied computers
STAGE #1 – January School Holiday Workshops
Sample full daily itinerary;
8:30 – 9am (Arrival / Drop off / Activities room)
9 – 10:30am (Session #1a)
10:30 – 12pm (Session #1b + Morning Tea)
12 – 12:30pm (Lunch)
12:30 – 1:15pm (Excursion Activity to Charlestown Square; alternate between Bowling, Laser Tag and Flip Out Ninja Park etc.)
1:15 – 2:30pm (Session #2a + Afternoon Tea)
2:30 – 2:45pm (Break / Library)
2:45 – 4pm (Session #2b)
4pm (Pick up / Activities room)
For less than $50 per hour for highly experienced and fully qualified teachers teaching a comprehensive and relevant program.
Includes all resources and materials, plus morning tea, and, access to Library, and, Activity Room.
! Lunch and Excursion Activity (ranging from $20-25 per activity) to be supplied by parent / guardian direct to child.
