Suitable for Year 9 and Year 10 students only
ENGLISH
Students making the jump into Year 10 need to be able to start analysing and annotating poetry and literature.
This 2 x half day workshop will focus on how to analyse, annotate and respond to more challenging poetry and literature.
As students prepare for senior school more rigorous academic terminology is required to be successful.
Some of the new terminology to be covered will be
- Ambiguity
- Metonymy
- Litotes
- Meiosis
Students will also be introduced to some of the new senior syllabus catch words and techniques, so they will become more familiar of what is to be expected of them for the new HSC.
